But about finding a Freddie lookalike in Iran... I don't know. Freddie doesn't look like a typical Iranian to me, he looks too... pale for that, don't you think? He looks more (south) European to me.[/QUOTE]

I don't know, I think he looks fairly Middle Eastern to me. I mean, I didn't think "hey, he looks Middle Eastern" before I found out that he was, so I suppose it wasn't *that* obvious, but... Sometimes he looked more dark-skinned than other times. I think it depended a lot on things like his hairstyle. He looked darker, IMO, when he had shorter hair w/ moustache. But that's just me.

I guess some of it depends on what part of Iran and things like that. I don't know any Iranians, so :) ... Anyone know people from Iran and could clear up what the average Iranian looks like? lol
"Brian May, Freddie will."
A friend of mine is of full Iranian descent and she is definately not as pale as Freddie, much darker. But perhaps it also depends on from which part of Iran she's from.

But still, Freddie wasn't Iranian. He was Parsi. Maybe we should look in Gujarat?

Parsi? I heard "Persian", i.e. Iranian... But I could be wrong. And he could have been a mix of things :)

The Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, looks fairly light-skinned - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahmoud_Ahmadinejad .

everyone knows that Howard Stern would be playing Brian May...
Roger: Can I go To Lunch Now? Brian: No, You Can't... --------------------------------------- Freddie: Oh Shit, All this crap again?! "If I had to do it all over again, yes why not? why not

"In the fucking year of '39... what the fucking shit else was I supposed to say ?! What the fuck is my line ?! You fucking bastards, how the hell am I supposed to work with this fucking shit ?!"

...

My favourite Freddie movie is "Tie Your Mother Down", where he plays himself and co-stars with Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon, all who play themselves. Roger Taylor even did all his own stunts.

Freddie was of full PARSI descent I can assure you. He was not Persian. And the pic of the Iranian president or whatever they would call him, isn't in color. Makes it kinda hard to see the color of his skin.

NO!!! Weird Al should play Brian! :D He even dresses the same and he's also really smart too. But not as smart as Brian, of course ;)

yeah thats a good idea i didnt think of that before lol.

Yeah weird al wouldnt take it seriously though, he'd be like making up song parodies after he was in the movie and release an album based off of brians songs.

'39 = '69

I want it all = i want to fall

the show must go on = the shoe must stay on

we will rock you = he will talk to you

Maybe Jim Carey could play Freddie. He's the only actor I know zany enough to actually pull that off. Seriously though, if there ever was such a movie, I would definitely be first in line for tickets.

I'm sorry, mayniac, but I don't think I could see Weird Al playing a Red Special guitar...let alone Brian playing an accordian.
