I'm having an off day and it is bugging me...

What is the song of peace that Brian talks about before Love of My Life? He says they weren't playing it that night.

Las Palabras the Falklands war was on at the time.
"It is better to sit in silence and have people think you're a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt"
Ah right. Now thats confusing, because they hardly ever played it live!

Well they had only recently released the album and I think the war and there tour in 81 of Argentina was on his mind.
"It is better to sit in silence and have people think you're a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt"
actually pcgenius9, they didnt play it at all, just the intro on the guitar
"Come in," she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm"
I think he was refering more to Life Is Real which WAS played in the US and rehearsed for the UK shows - Brian even makes a mention of people that gave their life for something they believe in (ir words to that effect).

Ah yes, Life is Real. That sounds much more like it.

Its just his speech before Love of My Life.

I LOVE that concert. WOW haven't watched it in ages!!!!!! xD

Awwww, I love the part when Brian's guitar gos out, he's like "what what? helpppppp meeeeee" lol well not really but the look on his face says it all! :P
^ that bit cracks me up oww poor Brian lol!
Trust me it's Las Palabras he was talking about the war, (can't rememeber if all his speech is included in the DVD) but that's what he was talking about and Las Palabras had gained new meaning after we began sending troops over there.

"I'd just like to dedicate this next one - this is a little unusual - but seeing as we're not playing our song of peace tonight, I'd like to say, I'd like to dedicate this a, particular song to all those people who are not like us and sitting here and having a good time, listening to music, but.. but, no matter where they come from, people who have given up there lives for what they believe."
Can't it be Put Out The Fire instead of Life Is Real? That one's more about peace imo.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
I agree that it's probably "Put Out the Fire," since that one was done all the way through during other shows of this same tour. (See the Japan clip on Disc 2)
You lot of tarts.
