i came across this new band today at work at umg and i had to share. theyre called Jill Station. its not that often when i come across a band that im really exited about but these guys are amazing. they have such an interesting and unique sound. they have kind of a grittiness to them but its polished at the same time. sounds a bit like an oxymoron but i dont know how else to explain it. you just have to listen to them to know what i mean. if your a fan of radiohead or old bowie you will definitely like this. if it sounds interesting check them out- jilstation.com

I don't listen to an awful lot of new stuff, but I've heard a couple of tracks from SheerShock Revival and they sound like the next big thing. I've heard Mother Superior and they sound good too.
I never really got Dragonforce. I read an interview with their guitarist Herman Li and he said they do what they do to piss the critics off. I didn't like it either.
