Any Keane fans?

Anybody in the UK have the "Under the Iron Sea" CD? Is it good?


It's being released in the US today.

Listened to their stuff quite a bit...

I'd rather hear Barry Manilow do the songs of Metallica, then sit through another bullshit Keane album.

I like them quite a bit. And they are Queen fans too, aren't they?

Can't say I'm keen on them myself. But the worst band in the world for me is Coldplay, no doubt about it.

They're boring.I thought Bedshaped was kinda good but the new song?They now sound like every other rock band out there.

Somewhere Only We Know, Bedshaped and Everybodys Changing are amazing songs. Really really good band and he has a great voice.

I thought 'Hopes and Fears' was a very good album, but I don't consider myself a fan.

I hope this next album is less Coldplay like, although I have to say that Keane is a lot less boring.

I agree, he has a great voice.

What bugs me about his singing (granted, I only have the first CD) is those realllllly loud gasping breaths on the fast songs, especially.

Hopes and Fears is a GREAT GREAT album in my opinion.
I cant wait to see what their new one sounds like...

Its simple, beautiful lyrics and i love it!

never heard of them, are they good, like guitar solos and everything. or are they crap like cold play. i hate that band more than i hate people.

I like them. They're like an interesting Coldplay, and the vocals are much better...I just picked up Under The Iron Sea today so I'm giving it a listen tommorrow.
