As much as I like the band ( I first saw them live in 1975 when I was 20 something and saw them 9 times in 4 countries) I always felt the weakest aspect of the bands songwriting was in the lyrics, but only with a handfull of songs. It's as though a riff was written, and the words were written to fit that.

On a side note, I do find, however, that Brian May's lyrics are consistently fantastic, with a skill level I deem far beyond that of any other songwriter I have ever read or heard.

I love that song... I just wander if there's a main author.. I've read quotes saying it was John, but I rather think it was a Freddie/Brian cooperation.
Anyway: beautiful, original, emotionally dramatic, like the whole Innuendo album (think of what an abyss separates it from The Miracle!!)
