Probably The Works tour for me, even though Freddie really had some bad nights, but when he was on, he was ON!!!

His vocals were good, Serry. I prefer them to the Bowl actually, though they were rougher, they were more agressive. Fred's going through the motions at the Bowl, too perfect, too polished, not enough heart.

For me Magic tour and The Works tour.
1977&1982 when i got to see them at thier finest!
My fave tour has to be 1979 killers/ crazy tour followed by adatr tour 1976/77 both great sounding tours.
Worst for me the works sounds shit freddie's vocals are ripped to shreds awful!!! only saving grace was introducing KYA SCC GKR into the setlist.

I'd pick the News Of The World tour as my favourite.

Well I never liked the song live anyway- you get the impression they only did it because they had to, Serry. His operatic roars on Who Wants To Live Forever and Under Pressure are hugely entertaining. On that tour, his voice generally is rough yes, but full of passion and at times ferociously powerful. TYMD suits being barked out. All of the songs covered by both On Fire and At Wembley are better in the latter- Under Pressure at Wembley completely blows the eighties version out of the water because of Freddie's barking vocal performance.

i used to think The Game Tour(1980) but the more i listen to boots from 1982,the more i have to say Hot Space was #1

In the Magic tour Freddie became better as a showman than a singer. His voice on Wembley is not very good but I think that some of the first nights were better. Either way, I'd prefer something between 1979 and 1982. I think The Works tour had a good setlist but Freddie's voice was overall bad and the synths were crap... and those electronic drums Roger plays on AOBTD?? Don't get me started on that. What was he thinking?!
