No other sport attract as many hooligans as football, and that's a fact. But compared to the huge number of people enjoying the game those hooligans are very few.
Football is a brilliant sport. It's very easy to understand(just learn the offside-rule and then enjoy), very easy to play (all you need is a ball - you can play almost everywhere), and you will need all kinds of differently skilled players to form a winning team.

Actually, I simply like watching any sport games except very few and players' extraordinary skills and spirits inspire me. But I hate those fans who get too excited and too emotional, especially those who want others to be as enthusiastic as they are. They are so annoying. And moreover, I hate those who have such enormous power to interfere and control players' lifes and who give priority to earning enormous money in sports business, despite that they deserves little about players' success.

I just like to enjoy and admire those fantastic games whoever plays them.

Since I closely follow the italian and spanish footballleague I know that there have been a lot of problems with racism. Remembering how E'to almost decided to leave the field because the crowd made monkeynoises everytime he touched the ball. Still, as sad as these incidents are - the problem isn't created by football. Football unites in many more ways.

However; your qoute about Americans is so stupid you have to admit it yourself. I usually get very frustrated with racism or - in this case - prejudism, but this didn't even get me worked up. Maybe it's because I realize you were provoked by Mr.Jingles, but still... If it was just something you said maybe you should apologize to all americans on this thread. If a world class player like Et'o gets treated like shit whenever he touches the ball, imagine how players from Africa and South America get treated like when they're struggling to fit in the team.

Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean you have to say a bunch of BS about ppl who actually do. I, for one, love soccer and I was never an alcoholic or done drugs before. Besides, why pick on a classic game like soccer when other sports have worser fans and you know it. Just look at basketball, American football, or baseball among other sports. Those baseball guys chew tobacco or some shit like that but you don't see me bashing them on a thread.
