LOL, I was bored and I was entertaining a nine-year-old in my theatre class today. And so we started making up Queen stories.
Me: And then what happened?
Her: A girl asked Brian to go out with her.
Me: And what did he say?
Her: He said no.
Me: Why?
Her: He doesn't like girls.
(pause)
Me: ...Who does he like?
Her: He likes Freddie.
Me: *thump*

I was watching my neighbor ellie-- shes 3, and she saw my queen poster, pointed to Roger and asked, "whats her name? She's pretty." I just laughed and laughed... I didnt want to confuse/scar the kid by saying "roger" so I just made up some girl name. She seemed satisfied with that, and moved on pointing to Freddie: "whats her name?"

that is hilarious! since im so obsessed with queen and my stepdad hates them and doesnt want his daughter to like queen (shes my stepsister) i played lazing on a sunday afternoon for her and she liked it, so now she likes queen! (shes five by the way)
lol and today she referred to Freddie's "hot muscular body." I fear I'm a bad influence.
lol and today... she was listening to I'm Going Slightly Mad, but she calls it I'm Going Completely Mad... and we were onstage and she randomly went "I'M GOING COMPLETELY MAD!" in the middle of the scene...
I was drawing with a 7-9 year old girl (cant rememberher exact age), whom my stepmum was babysiting, and she draws a picture of Freddie for me :,)... Complete with umbrella open shirt and a moustache (she likes Queen a ot too)..
What worries me is, that it was "Freddie Mercury in Italy" next to that wired tower. The tower looked more like a melting penis than a tower :s..

Claire: So Jim and Mary were married to Freddie?
Me: Well, kind of.
Claire: Did they get married to each other after he died?
Claire: I wanna read the Freddie book! (grabs my Freestone book and begins reading it) (Lorretta, our director, walks over)
Lorretta: Is this a book she should be allowed to read?
Me: *shrug* I think so.
Claire: (looking at the I Want to Break Free picture) Look, Gabby, boys dressed up as girls!
Claire: I went to Google.com and they have all kinds of pictures of Freddie without his shirt on! You have to try it!
(when we were on stage during a show!)
Randi: You are hopeless!
Claire: You are more than hopeless, you are impossible! ...And slightly mad.
(Randi starts cracking up)
Lorretta: (at a pre-show pep-talk after an understudy had to replace the star) As they say, the show must go on.
Claire: THAT'S A SONG BY QUEEN!!!
Lorretta: You should dedicate this show to someone.
Me and Claire in unison: FREDDIE!

My cousin who was 8 last time I checked, was confused as to why Freddie wore nail varnish, and equally confused as to why it wasn't hot pink or bright red!
Well, I talk about Queen to ANYONE who cant escape me :D.. I actually made an old lady on a bench watch pictures of Freddie once :s.. Is that fucked up or WHAT???
