It's disappointing but at the end of the day the fault lies with Rooney for stamping on Carvalho's balls, and with Eriksson for his striker selection in the squad to begin with at the start of the tournament.
England haven't worked at their best through the world cup and could have done alot better.
I think losing quite alot of our good players, like Rooney and Beckham, held the team back.
Lets hope the winners of the world cup deserve it.

Just the last 10 mins i watched it but the resualt was amazing nothing against the english people i respect them just the football i hate and i'm glad its over cause theirs no more St Georges flags flying everywhere like in English pubs e.t.c and seeing it on the news all the time

I don't believe this was just down to the World Cup. There is a lot of political correctness in the UK about showing pride in your country - the do-gooders have been claiming it may offend the foreign minorities and I believe a lot of people (certainly those I have spoken to with flags) have been displaying the St George cross in retailiation to those do-gooders.
