I still believe Brazil is a better team than France, but the beauty of the game relies on the fact that teams have to find strategies to defeat rivals that are stronger than them.
France played one of the best games in World Cup history, and found a way how to block and not allow scoring chances to the best team in the world.
Brazil was overconfident and slow paced through most of the game. France found their chance to score and from then on, Brasil started to realize that just because they were the mega-favorites it didn't mean that they had already been given a ticket to the final. As the minutes came closer to the final whistle, Brasil played with more desparation and for once they realized that they weren't invincible.

I totally agree, Mr. Jingles. Brazil just did not consider defeat was an option and they looked lazy and arrogant. In fact, they are the best players from the biggest teams in the world but it did not show. France, on the other hand,
worked so hard through the tournament with each player giving his all that it was absolutely okay that they won.

@ Rick - do not forget Italy. Germany has never won a match against Italy in a world cup...
