I've been here just over 6 years ... not enough to be an old-timer.
Good to see a gathering of the old school, now about these numpties!
I think that might have been misinterpreted, I was referring to the numpties that seem hell bent on spoiling QZ for the rest of us by posting official material here.
The board seems to go through this from time to time, we have had Charles baer and Jake, plus many others over the years,
Now we have pointless topics from dozens of bored teenagers. but the real threat comes from people posting official material. At some point someone is going to get really pissed at this and take legal action to either fine or close down the site.
I am sure that many young fans don't realise the fact that some of their posts are official material, however, many do, and these people are going to spoil it for everyone, unfortuantely you will always get a minority that think it's clever to be malicious, so again I say we must urge them to think again or frankly just delete the posts altogether.
The offensive stuff from the likes of Charles and jake can be taken with a pinch of salt, it's just pathetic, but the posting of official material and sensitive material such as personal details I believe is much worse and ranks up there with Arlene and the attempts to con money out of kids a few months back.
I firmly believe items like this need moderating now, if Richard disagrees, that's fine but it is his site that is in danger of being sanctioned!

Hey - after seven years, I'm still here as well.
But sure you had not missed me! ;-)
I'm still around every couple of days to patch up the intelligence level, contradict what Brian writes on his website and try to annoy the shit out of the morons :-)
This place nowadays is so moronic though, that I don't seem to be able to think of good topics anymore ;-)
Good threats these are - we get to see eachtoher again ;-)

It's been more than a year since Tom and I were drinking Bloody Marys after the Q+PR gig in Birmingham. Fenderek! Where art thou?
Good point actually, I haven't seen Tom around for a good couple of months... Maybe he's got a new job where he can't slack off and hang around the boards all day? ;o)
As for the amount of official material, why can't kids do what I used to do, go and buy the odd album here and there from the second hand section at bridge records in walsall - hence why I've ended up getting several albums on three different formats! Also, the appearance, and apparent unregulated nature of 'Youtube' seems to be causing rather a lot of trouble on that front...

How long can someone continue to live for the internet?
Fraz has returned! :P

I know 13 year olds can not afford a complete back-catalogue, but whatever happened to 'a bit at a time', and don't kids celebrate birthdays with presents anymore?
Exactly. I started my CD collection in 1994 (I was 12) and finished all 15 studio albums in 1998 (16). It takes time.

Indeed it does. I'm still working on mine. I get soem things for my birthday from time to time. Thats basically that my list consists of, CDS...And yes, i am a teen. But i avoid some silly threads. But i hope some of you all understand that most of its in good fun or sheer teenage curiosity that doesnt know when to be surpressed or left to the imagination. Albeit some of it is ridiculous i know...
I do miss some good discussions. Id start my own, but i dont know whats been discussed or not specifically. And i dont want the wrath of this has been discussed a million times before. So i patiently wait to join in one...
But hopefully i can at somepoint start some good threads...
But on behalf of some of the younger ones here, can we perhaps be a bit nicer to them? Some dont know any better. But those who do, then by all means, let it rip i suppose. But those silly topics can die out if no one responds...
Anywho, i've said my piece for the time being...

I love the summertime.
I used to love it, but then I was forced to take something called "summer school." Ouch.

Sure, I'll answer that, he's a delusional pole who has nothing better to do than invent stories about America and pass them out as fact
