No, it's for charity and it creates me awarness for Queen, the original is still there if you want to listen to it.
well i think anyone can record a version of any song just as long as they pay the royalties to the writer or with Freddie to Freddie's estate. there is no way they can be refused permission to record it but at least Brian and Roger stayed out of it not like with 5ive. that was a bad move to get on that track. at the time i was glad they were on it but not now.

Well, for one Brian would disagree that it's a classic, and for two everyone else here would probably agree that you're a clueless idiot for not spotting the two threads on the subject already that establish our collective feelings on the subject.

I heard bits of it during the Sport Relief spots run during the World Cup on the BBC, and from what I heard, I think it's actually a good version.
McFly are McFly - a fun boy band. They do their thing well and can at least play and sing fairly well. What's the big drama? You should be happy that 'young bands' like this consider Queen music worthy to cover.
