Freddie's Musical Influences

Long time downloader/seeder, first time poster :P

I once read that during Freddies Wreckage/IBEX days, he would constantly listen to the Who's rock opera "Tommy"(It being an amazing peice of work, I definately recommend it). It was also stated that he owned very few LPs at the time(1969 I believe), them being:

The Who
"The Who Sell Out" 1967
"Tommy" 1969

Led Zeppelin
"Led Zeppelin" 1969(? Unsure)
"Led Zeppelin II" 1969

I always thought it was quite interesting that he owned such albums, I believe they shone through his musical work especially his earlier stuff. Does anyone know more about this? comments? discussion? fans of these bands(The Who and Led Zeppelin)?

Classic albums, they are popular sellers too :) Im something of a vinyl dealer! But all of that snazz aside! If you enjoy Queen, you will definately have some liking to the Who! Great vocals and lyrics(Love Reign O'er Me is simply a masterpeice). Haha, sorry to get carried away! Im such a music junkie :P Back to Freddie and his love for his few albums now!

I like very much of The Who and Led Zeppelin , but fan only of QUEEN!!

Led Zeppelin is deffinetley my second favorite band, they are the shit. Queen is the shit squared though.
