Why does some people HAVE to talk bad about Queen??

They dont give a dahmn when we´re not around them, but when we are, and if we mention Queen, they have to say all kinds of shitty things about them..
WHY???????

Because people can be ignorant and feel the need to drag something down that other people love thats why....

Let them say what they want. I dont give a light anymore. Sometimes it hurts yes, no denying that.And more importantly, god forbid some people try and figure out why something like Queen's important to people. They may be surprised...
And plus they fear things they dont comprehend... So if they dont know crap about Queen, then they figure shoot it down cuz they dont know a bleeding thing about it....

Probably because a band as daring and as flamboyant as them is intimidating to the empty headed little teeny boppers that they feel the need to laugh at them and call them "gay or sumthing LOLLLLZZZZ"

I can't wait till 30 years from now when people will be ripping on the talentless "emo" bands with whiny voices and bad haircuts that they call their musical idols. :)

I hate when people say Queen is stupid because they are gay. I always feel the need to say "No, you stupid idiot, only their lead singer was gay and there is nothing wrong with that!!!!!"

My dad and my brother was going to a car show this past weekend, and my dad wanted to listen to some CD's from my collection. I told him please be sure to take my Queen's greatest hits CD, cause its some good driving music, lol...my brother said no, we wont listen to any gay queer bands in dad's car!!! I keep trying to tell them that the band as a whole wasnt gay...but my brother says that just because they were named Queen, that makes them gay!!!


My advice to you freme: ignore ignorant folks!!!!

My gosh, people are so ignorant of bands like Queen these days. They just don't understand the word "tolerance" and "acceptance" that they have to put any Queen fan down; however, I completely agree with your advice, Jellybean. I'll remember that in the future to come.

Another artist that everyone accused of being gay back in the day was PRINCE!!!!! He was VERY gender bending, but not gay. My brothers always say that he was gay, bi or whatever. I'm like so what, he was talented!!!

No one has bullied me because I love Queen... and if they do, fuck yes they will die! :D

I have friends who respect my type of music, my style ect ect...

If your friends do not then I guess you should talk about it with them, if they still are stubborn then that's not a true friend.

I've got news for you, I'm already ripping on them. Ha-ha.

I think people don't understand Queen and especially Freddie..he was just too perfect for them with his quite "unique" life style.They are just envious.. that's all.

I agree with every word. You want friends who will accept you for who you are because that kind of friendship is a strong one. If they can't accept the music you're into then they mustn't be very good friends.

I was a Queen fan in the 70s, yeah I go waaay back, and the rock music rags used to tear them apart. Queen was just ahead of their times.

I also heard the "gay band" thing. Brian, John and Roger just had a gay co-worker. People in my company also have a gay co-worker. Who the *bleep* cares?
