Ive started to listen to the drums in Queen songs more latley and it appears to me that the drums are quite seep in the mix on the older stuff. Id say that on A day at the races they are louder. Does anyone else think they are quiet and is this just due to the recording technology that Queen were using. I think they are most quiet on Queen 2 and i have heard people complain about the mixing on that album before.
