Anyone play guitar?

Do i need to buy an amp when buying an electric guitar? Is it ok if I don't???

Yes you need an amp as Louise said, that's why they call it an electric guitar. Might I say that Fender Strats are gorgeous guitars, they look and sound great! I've got one in sunburst and I'm totally in love with it. I'm still saving to get a Red Special!

Same here. I had been thinking of getting one for a while but when I first heard Brian play I thought, "Wow, I want to play like this guy." So out I went and bought my beloved!
