Just wondering if anyone has read any background info on the inspiration for this song?

makes me wonder if it was to do with groupies?

yeah, seems kind of negative doesn't it? Seems to be from the POV of some guy who was dumped in favour of a rock star....

It was on the B side of Radio Ga Ga which I guess makes it a little difficult to get hold of.

I thought it was more of a fan's point-of-view wish, because he was tired of his girlfriend's (or maybe boyfriend's) ability to get a backstage pass and dirty knees.
