Remember the release of Queen Under Review 1973-1980? Well Amazon has now listed the second edition covering 1980-1991.

Release date AUGUST 29.

A good choice of photo too, not an obvious one but from their later era instead- I always liked the backstage photo from I Want It All.

GREAT!!! I thought the first 1 was really good. Hopefully we'll get some new unseen footage!!!

Is the 1973-1980 one really worth seeing? As in, is there anything on there we haven't seen before a hundred times?

Yes i also have the same question. Is it a biography, or more like photos and videos?

^ there's a part of it near the start when they are live in London i think. its either in 73 or 74 but it's not in the Rainbow. However it does tend 2 show quite a bit of Budapest in 86!!

Thats not the DVD cover I have. I have the "Freddie into harliquins" era. I think that is a bootleg copy.

Learn to read. This is a NEW DVD. The one you are talking about is from 1973-1980.

And this would be another disgrace and disappointment. This is nothing new. Wrong dates, no unseen stuff etc.

I'm not going to buy this.

this first dvd is shite! this second one better be much better!

I enjoyed the first one, though it didn't turn out to be as advertised. You may recall it was being promoted as a disc of rare live perfomances.. well it turned out to be a documentary with folks talking about Queen, album by album, and with clips of videos and live footage we've already seen.. sometimes the same clip repeated over and over, I would assume because they only have the right to use a certain amount of the footage.. LOL

But it was feature-length, 103 mins and even with its quirks, still entertaining.

I confess I love these unofficial documentaries.. even with their mistakes, their off-topic background music, their so-called 'experts' ;)

I have 5 so far and including Under Review 2, there are 3 more coming.

The first one's good if you want to hear esteemed opinions of rock journalists, listen to some chap play a Red Special replica and see a bit of unseen footage from 1978/79.

Therefore I won't be buying this one, and for the record...Magic Moments is awful.
