Ok, the more I read these threads started by "Queen Archivist" the more I just think that it is some spammer that gets off on writing long posts that make no sense and get people angry. Why everyone takes this person so seriously is beyond me. For all we know it's just an annoying spammer.
I don't just want to comment other posts, so to make my point clear:
Greg's book is a fantastic read, and I still read it from time to time. One can clearly see there's been put a lot of effort, time and passion into it. The internet has offered so many more sources, which he just couldn't use at the time. But still it is a great book. And the Q&A on QOL was a great read as well. I also understand that because he has become the official archivist, he can not give away everything to the public at a certain time. But when we got the Freddie Box, it was treat. Fantastic stuff.
JSS has loads of things to offer, and his posts are always something to look forward to. Knowledgeable and definitely another source to rely on.
Queenconcerts.com is a treat both visual and in terms of content.
I am looking forward to Lester Burnham's book.
And the list goes on.
It's not just black and white. I too am sick of all the anger around here (from all sides), and I would love to see this become a fruitful discussion.
Am I a wuss if I say all of the above mentioned are great contacts for an interesting, open-minded, even mind-boggling discussion about the mighty royal foursome ?
