Obviously the reasons for remixes would be because the record company is hoping for a hit single to promote the album.

I agree multiple versions of the same song is going overboard though.

I think a lot of his solo work is underated, but I'm not sure how well this album is going to sell. there's no reason for me to get this, i already have the box set. The remixes on cd2 would have to be great for me to buy this.
