AHH! I ADORE this song!! I just love how Freddie sings "here comes the bad news, open the flood gates!" I dunno, that bit just seems vocally powerful, I love this song.

Yes This is one of my all time favourite queen songs, I think the video could have been a bit better but the video I really like anyway. I would love to hear this done in the paul rodgers and queen concert, I would even like a tribute band to cover this one.
I actually dont mind the video, I love the look on Freddie's face, LOL! But that chubby guy with the newspaper scares me!

I'm in the US and the song just didn't chart. People prefered mainstream rock more (I Want It All) and I Want It All was a common heard radio track according to a few fans on this forum.
But my girlfriend was on her way to work and heard Scandal played, due to another Queen fan requesting this track to be played, and I'm in a small town.

Freddies vocals blow me away and give me chills everytime, all the raw emotions there.
I really enjoy the lyrics too because you can tell it was something clearly taken from life experience.
I love Bri's guitar solo as well in it and the riff grabs hold of my mind and replays itself all the time...
Now that i've been talking about it, i must go put on my MP3 Player...

like the song, love the vocal and the lryics. I think the song could have been better with the weak drumming, roger was not a very good drummer anymore in the 80's, and the guitar could have been just a little heavier.
I think Rogers comentary on the GH2 is awesome, he just whines....

It's a wonderful song and so is the video, as all the others axtracted from The Miracle album. Freddie was too weak for outrageous things, but still did his very best that year. And i hate Bri and Rog for all the "regrets" expressed on GVH 2, b/c they sound almost as a reproach. The great man was sick, alright? He just couldn't do live anymore! Do we always have to bring this up?!
