Email Notifications

I don't seem to be getting email notifications of replies to threads. When I tick the box, then refresh or revisit the page, the tick disappears. Any ideas?

I can´t help you out, but let me ask you, where do i find that function to receive mail notifications? I´m tired of looking but can´t find that option.
