I clicked on the link to the new Freddie page called "Lover of life, Singer of Songs." It did not work! Did anyone else have a hard time getting it to come up?

i also had the problem.
try to open it with the mozilla firefox browser, and install the macromedia flash plugin. it should work then.

i use internet explorer and the site works for me. maybe you should try to open it using i.e (for firefox user)
Finally, I was able to get into the site, You are right that I did have to install some weird thing first.
