Anyone know what provoked such censorship?

Yeah! From what I read on songfacts.com, Shefeld stole the money from the members of Queen and fled to the United States, leaving Queen in debt.
Wasnt it about John Reid?

or am I messing names up?
Well here's my counter-offer... do I have to kill you? What if I were just to kick the ever loving shit out of you?

i thought it was Jack Nelson, one of their first manager...or am i confuse him with someone else here?? O.o
don't take offense at my innuendo...
Actuallty, it was Freddie's audition to become the new C3PO in the next Star Wars movie. Although he said he didn't like Star Wars, but then again, he wrote Liar too.

Even better! The concert was recorded over telephone and some idiot started pressing buttons.
Gordie Howe- John Reid was "a good guy"-he was brought in after the debacle with the Sheffield Brothers and helped straighten out Queen's financial mess (he also claims to be the one that went out on a limb and decided to go ahead and have Bo Rap issued in it's entirety, not edited down as the record company wanted). Peter Grant, the legendary manager of Led Zeppelin was also approached about taking on Queen. He declined but apparently offered some some good advice that the band was very grateful for and hence, they always spoke well of Grant.

It was Freddie calling out the name of his favourite pizza restaurant. It was bleeped out so that waves upon waves of excited, dedicated fans would not swamp the restaurants and mob the patrons and staff half to death.

Wait a minute...I read wrong! The fact I put down wasn't from songfatcs, it was from a different site. I know that I've read about Sheffield, whom happened to be Queen's former manager and co-owner of Trident Studios. Accordng to what I read on another site, he cheated Queen out of tons of money on royalties to their first three albums before "A Night At The Opera." Sheffield threatened to file a lawsuit against Queen and EMI over the song's dedication, thinking it was dedicated to him. EMI did settle with him in court anyway.
