The audience likes Paris Hilton, is she a good artist?
We haven't led hear a lot from us, but we have had a lot of requests to perform at places from bars and pubs owners who coincidentally heared us play in our repetition room.
And by the way I doubt very much wether Thijs is being approached to write songs. I must admit his lyrics aren't bad, but it are more poems than musical lyrics and with all due respect he hasn't got any musical knowledge whatsoever.

Thijs does write great songs, i have seen these apart from poems, BUT i am staying out of it. But i must point out something else about songwriting, you may not like him, but ALOT of ppl didn't like John Lennon/Paul McCartney's songwriting at first, but alas, well you know the rest. IF you would be a TRUE friend of Mr. Jim Hutton, then you wouldn't put shit and garbage like this on the Queenzone and then you wouldn't even think of saying you own a tape like that, or that you bought it from him. A REAL friend of Jim (and Freddie) would RESPECT their privacy and shut up and destroy such films. This has NOTHING to do with the love for the music of Queen or any of its members. Not that I expect you understand any of the subtleties; you haven't read '1984', I suppose, so you couldn't possibly see how it is a direct parody, nor would I expect you to understand even the slightest bit of the irony of a major part of the content. So, in short, you've pretty much done "as expected". I was hoping for an "exceeds expectations", actually, but that was clearly too much to ask for.

This has to be the third time you've brought this up in a thread, so I have to ask - do you feel it adds weight to an argument?
Granted, sure it takes hard work to get 7.7 (get back to us when it's an 8 or a 9) but that's basically all it is - hard work. I knew this feller in Year 10, his essays were as boring as blue fuck; and yet, when it came time for the usual awards divvied out to various educational institutions, the guy came something like 2nd. All because he worked hard, and not because he possessed any kind of special intelligence.
To wit - 7.7s be damned. No one gives a crap, and if that has to be the crutch you lean on every time you feel your intelligence is called into question, how will you ever hold your head up high around someone who got 7.8?
