I didn't say that I myself particularly liked the idea of a "junior". What I meant to say was that if a man can name his son after himself, there is no reason that a woman couldn't do the same with a daughter.

- Personally, I think when parents name thair sons after the father it goes along with how the family wants to keep the family line going, so to speak. I know if I had a son, I would want to incorporate my father's name into his, because I would like a part of my family's name to continue on.

That may be old-fashioned, but who said old-fashioned was anything bad? :-)
