Here, in the United States of America, the consequences of a woman coming to the police after reporting a rape or attack consist of legal remedies and secure protection. Not only that, but there are numerous government and private organizations whose sole responsibilities are to ensure that women receive these rights.
I understand where you are coming from, and your ignorance can somewhat be excused, but please try to consider understanding the situation before commenting upon it.
