I generally dont like Freddies soloprojects, but this video just makes me sick!

I'm curious, does anyone know the legal situation with videos like this on YouTube and other sites ?

I know that there was a time when music videos were promotional tools, and not necessarily the product itself... so I guess it's possible that older bands/whatevers would let the videos tramp around freely, but... ?

I don't understand..why don't you guys like the video? I do admit though, it is a bit "offensive", if that is what you mean...

No, that just means it's official and so probably shouldn't be on you tube.

I wouldn't worry about the legal repercussions of viewing copyrighted material on youtube. That would be quite silly.

All-right, as I wrestle with my deeply ingrained capitalist sensibilities (which are what prompted the legality question, not that I'm afraid of getting into legal trouble myself), I would like to know if this video's content would get me in trouble if I'm watching it here at the public library.

It depends on the policies of your library, and furthermore on the staff and supervision of your library (and if you get caught, of course).

As far as capitalism goes, as long as this video's availability does not dissuade you from purchasing the product, consider your dedication to capitalism fulfilled.

Edit: Also note that, in the long run, your decision will not effect the economy at all. :D

That was most ... strange. I may have gotten a "no matter what our problems, we'll always be together" vibe from all that (I don't know, no matter how many times she got thrown around, they kissed at the end. Is that Mary Austin ? I thought I read that some place, but I don't really know what she looked like in the 80's.). But now I'm being kicked off the computer, so I don't have time to think in a particuarly meaningful way.
