When they got into studio to record Innuendo, Freddie was ILL, not just had AIDS, he was ill and going down.

Theres people like Magic Johnson and many others doing alright this days, but Freddie was living his last days, he knew it, the doctors knew it and the rest of Queen knew it, that's why this album is like that, there's no coincidence.

The fact is that Freddie and the others knew he didnt have much time left, not only that he was infected or he had AIDS. Maybe the doctors told him how much time he had left.

Do you know that nobody dies directly from the virus or AIDS? the virus fux your entire immune system and you can die of anything that a healhty person wont die from it. Freddie sadly died form pneumonia, because there was no cure for him, and in his case it could have been anything, cuz a person with aids can die of any sickness, it just goes more and more complicated till the end.

I think the lyrics were surprisingly not his when you think they must have been. But, yeah... Innuendo was made with the knowledge that it was likely the end. So was Made In Heaven(other than the remake songs of the past), and even The Miracle might have had Freddie's condition in mind.

I think Freddie wasn't about direct lyrics, but more so about lyrics that could have multiple interpretations and more importantly lyrics that have a timeless, broad stance to define the songs, not any outside thoughts, themes or meanings.

Freddie's final message was in fact printed in the Kensington Gazzette on the Thursday following his death. It read; "Signed copy of Driven By You by Brian May for sale, never been played £3.00 O.N.O. P.O Box 3677, London."

Of course Freddie knew he didn't have much time left. In fact, he was the one who decided to stop taking his medicine, in protest to his doctors. The only thing he took was pain killers.

in my opinion, freddie knew he was dying and he knew that there was nothing to do to stop it. it quite simple really, he was depressed. ha. when im depressed the stuff i write is pretty um 'end of the world' sounding. you know what i mean.

Yeah, I think they knew Fred didn't have long and they decided to make songs that would make me cry...
And yet I love those songs....

It doesn't have to do with fate. They wrote those songs the same time as when Freddie's health was getting worse. So they knew exactly what was taking place.

If this were fate, they would have written those songs years before Freddie's health declined and then they would have, supposedly, known what was going to happen to Freddie.

I'm the first one to tell you that it is very easy to read into Queen's music - especially when you are new to it. But hey, in the end, it is *just* music.
