I have never abused you nor insulted you. I would like to ask you for some help with some information on at least the titles and credits on the footage you have on Sunbury. I have called GTv channel 9 here in Australia and they said they have Sunbury footage from 1973 (which now is out on DVD for official sale).
I would like to be able to see this happen one day for the 1974 Sunbury footage as you know many Queen Fans down under want to see this footage - it is a part of our history with Queen. (not a great history but it is our history non the less). I have done my upmost to track this down through official channels - I keep on just missing out. However in saying this I have narrowed the search right down through some information I was able to track down. Would you please be able to confirm for me at least which tv station took the footage - the watermark of the station should be on the footage somewhere. Also do you know any other information that you can give me to help me track this down through official channels? I realise you will not work with GB and that is understandable actually. I know a fair few from the hub and their stories also – As for the GB issue I am sure you are not on your own with that one. However I am not here to bag neither him out nor you - I just would like some help with the information on the credits on the footage and station and also would you please be able to tell my how you came across the footage in the first place?

If any footage exists, which I sincerely doubt, your best bet would probably be the ABC. Many archival performances of touring bands were shot by the ABC back then and (for the Aussies) turn up on Rage regularly. Whilst there's been many clips of the Stones, Zep etc from that era, nothing has turned up on Queen,who we know at the time were unknown downunder.
We are pretty certain GTV channel 9 took the footage - we have called them - they have 1973. So they most likely took 74 also.

This is a neverending discussion. I don't choose a side. It was YSM's decision not to share the video or a screenie. Well, I don't care. Too bad I don't have an equally rare thing to trade, but there are far more important things in the world. I'm sure it will see the light some day for every Queenfan.
