Roger's drumkit, 1986

Hello, in wich songs did Roger use his Roland Octapad during the magic tour?. I can't really see it or hear it by watcing the wembley show.

Just before Under Pressure for sure. Watch the Roger-cam on the second disc. Those are effects for the cymbals.

Edit: If you watch closely you can see that he hits the octapad with his drumstick.

I think it was also used to reinforce the sound of the drums on some songs, sampled sounds from the records to help the bass and toms for certain tracks.

hmm, i see that he hits the top of the cymbals, not the actually Octapad...
Is it just me?

In Under Pressure he hits them. You gotta look carefully on the Roger Cam though.

The Octapad created the cowbell sound that you hear in UP in The Magic Tour. Cheers!!!
