On his solo album: back to the light Brian thanks a couple of people.

My special thanks also: for persistent friendship: Paul Rodgers!

that's cool!
.....aaaaaaaaand?
Well, I think that right there proves that PR was Freddie's favorite singer.
I'm convinced.
It doesn't proves anything as we all know. I was listening to the record and reading the notes, and it was just a thing I never noticed before....

As we all know good old Aretha was Freddies all time favorite singer.

Naw... On VH1 Rock Honors Roger said that Paul was "pretty much Freddie's favourite singer".

Roger and Brian wouldn't lie to us. Paul was Freddie's inspiration, for sure.
Didn't brian always thank the whole world in his albums?

In a 1989 interview Freddie is asked to his favourite singers and he is mentioning Aretha Franklin as his all time favourite, so who knows best Roger or Fredie Himself?
Err....I really dont care.
I think Diana Ross was Freddie's favourite singer.

Then you are not thinking good enough...It's a simple fact that Freddies favourite singer was Aretha. In fact he said this on more than one occassion. Freddie also said that he would love Aretha to cover (his favourite song of himself): Somebody to love.
did Freddie ANYWHERE ANYTIME mentioned paul rodgers in any waY?
During Queen For An Hour he said that his favourite singers (in rock music) were George Michael and Robert Plant. At the Circus tapes he said Robert Plant (that's 1977 I think).

But of course Freddie mentioned Paul Rodgers: check out his diaries!
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
I always thought Freddie's favourite singer was H from Steps? Have I been misled? Or is it just that Brian and Roger and touring with him and they want people to buy into it?
"I'll probably make loads of plans, and then just sit around on my bottom all day long and do nothing." The Man In The Shadows says it like it is. http://www.myspace.com/petearnold
