Back to let you know toy company NECA is working on a 2nd Freddie figure (I'm betting on Live Aid or Bo Rhap video) and plans to release a 7 inch version of Wembley Freddie in 2007. Good news for all of us who think 18 inch Freddie is a bit too much on one's desk !

Heehee, cool. My money's on LiveAid Freddie, and 18 inches is a bit to much yeh! LOL!
I received the 18" Freddie figure today.
It looks good and everyone has seen it has been impressed.
BUT...
Two criticisms.
1. The music sound bytes that play when noise activated are a but gimmicky.
2. Freddie looks a bit elongated, especially his legs which look too long. Probably because they've modelled it on TV images (Wembley 86) which can look distorted with these TV wide angle lenses.
It looks good and everyone has seen it has been impressed.

It's just a 'low quality' montage of WWRY, Ga Ga, Champions. Think that's all, order may be diff but no 'Freddie ayyyhh ooooh's' :(

Yes, but only because it will take me an hour to explain over the phone to my mom's friend that "No, I mean Freddie Mercury. Not Freddie Prinze jr. Yes. Really."
I wonder if this happens, if his pants will be augmented/extremely ill-fitting and unflattering in certain places. :p
