But in the end it worked out for the best. It's not like anyone thinks he invented rock and roll. He was the most marketable conduit for this kind of music to be broadcast to white youth at the time - and now we all know that it came from the blacks (and indeed, usually sounded better when they did it) what's the problem? It all worked out in the end, I think.
