I have been told there was an article about the Live Killers album in a fan club magazine from either 1979 or 1980. It mentioned the concerts used for the album, one of them being the Lyon 2-17-79 show, among others. Does anyone have this particular magazine, and if so, could they tell me what the other concerts mentioned were?

Many thanks in advance.

Not having much luck here are you, I will try to remember to dig them out tonight and come back to you if I find something

I've just looked through the 79 and 80 magazines and there's no tracklisting WITH venues there, of the Live Killers album (only a tracklisting).
In those mags one can find tourdates and venues from 1979 and 1980.

btw I recently have put the covers of the mags I have on my site. (starting with Summer 1977)

Great site, by the way.
thanks.
The album Live Killers is recorded from January/March 1979 so it's easy to find ALL the venues they played during that period.

Then it must be a separate article. Please have a look again.

I've never seen it either, in ANY fanclub magazine.
I have mags back to and including 79 but I can't see anything that will help you I'm afraid.

Togg, in any of your Fan club mags do you have a drawing (outline) of the stage set-up for the Killers or Crazy tour? I seem to remember seeing this waayyy back in 78 or 79.. and have been searching for it ever since..
Thanks.

I've checked all magazines from 1979-1982 except Summer 1979 and Winter 1980, and there's no mention.

However, I run a website which lists the contents of all fan club magazines (www.ultimatequeen.co.uk), and about a year ago someone sent me details of my missing magazines - and they said that the summer 1979 issue had details of the Live Killers album, track list, and presumably a list of what is recorded where. Of course, Live Killers was released in June 1979 so this does seem probable.

Unfortunately though this is one of the few magazines I'm missing from 1978 onwards, but I hope this information helps anyway!

And Ezee.... there is no line drawing in any of the magazines I've checked, so if it was included it would again be from Summer 1979 or Winter 1980. Sorry!
I also have most fanclub mags including the Summer 1979 issue. It does not feature the concerts, only the tracklist and timings of the songs. In the Christmas 1980 mag (there was no Winter issue) there is also no mention.
I am afriad I can find none of the above in any of my copies :-(

Alright... thanks everyone for looking!
