AH but it's the age old mixup! Our first instinct is the mourn the dead; a selfish instinct no less, we mourn because we can't see them anymore. Furthermore; why do we pay so much tribute to people when they're dead? Wouldn't it make more sense if, every now and then, we let those around us know that we appreciate them? Heck, I make it a mission of mine to celebrate those around me *while they are still here*, because I'll be damned if I wait till their funeral to do it! Why, that'd be like opening the barn door before I've bought the horse.

Well....if you are a good daughter like I am (or a good son), you tell your parents how much you love them and appreciate them every time you talk to them. If I call them to ask them a simple question, I always tell them I love them and I always tell them thank you even if they haven't done anything for me at that specific point in time. I want to them to know how much
I love them and appreciate them so I tell them just about every time I talk to them, which is a lot!! I figure they should never get tired of hearing it. I love when my kids tell me they love me. I love it when they show it also.

GOOD IDEA!!! Here in Cleveland, on WNCX (the local classic rock station) they do four songs in a row every weekday at 2:00 pm. Maybe on both Freddie's birthday AND the day he died, we can all e-mail the station adn ask them to play some Queen for the four play thingy.
And maybe this happens in other cities too, the four play thing, so people in those cities should e-mail the stations and ask them to do the same.
