Im only 16 and my bf is 18,ive more sense than he does so I really dont think age matters,once you both love each other then why should age stop you?
My parents' ages are 54 and 64, that's such a huge age difference.

Because you never really know for sure (especially at such a young age) if you're truly in mutually loving relationship or not until either A) it ends (i.e. no) or B) many years down the road when you're still together (i.e. yes). By the way, to any who are wondering...no, ten months is not equivalent to many years down the road.

I don't really think it matters once you're past the age of 16. At that point you're old enough to have sex and to choose your sexual partners, even if you make the wrong choice. Some people are really mature for 16.
My mum was 16 when she started dating my Dad, and he was 19 at the time. I don't think my mum would have any problems with me dating someone a few years older.
