Digitech Pedal Demos

This topic is for anyone who owns/uses the Brian May Pedal and wants to post links or actual demos from themselves.

I would... if only the thing would become available in Europe!

It's very welcome, I guess, but what was wrong with the original Digi thread?

well I thought i would start a thread where people, instead of talking about the pedal, would use it and show others of what they think about it and why and use proof. I just think there should be people to show demos of the thing on QZ and not other sites.

that was amazing, hey does anybody who own it want to post THEIR OWN demos on QZ?? Doesnt matter about the quality of playing, just want to hear the tones. Obviously better playing would be better, but it is not that big of a deal because we all know we cannot replicate brian's playing perfectly. Original Demos would be awesome, i will try to post some ASAP

I must say that i am very skeptical to say the least. The only way you can really get a good quality Brian May replication of sound is by

a) having a vox ac 30 amp
b) a red special or re-wired strat
c) a good treble booster
d) preferably a power soak of some kind so that you don't go deaf! To get enough distortion out of the tubes you should have the volume up to at least 70%.

e)a phasing pedal and a chorus pedal

The only good I can see the pedal doing is replicating the Deacy amp's tones.

It does. I heard a less than stellar playtest of this pedal; really, the tone is meaningless unless someone is doing the right thing to the strings.

I was skeptical too, but the digitech pedal is the real deal. Digital technology is always on the move and I would forcast a future where any and every challenging sound will be digitaly possible to recreate.

That WWRY sample is pretty impressive. I wonder - were all the other tests done through a direct line into a sound card? Or was the sound being coloured by different brands of amp and sub-standard playing?

that we will rock you demo is amazing... The pedal is for real. The tones are true but the thing is that everytime you switch a tone, you have to fix the knobs like the gain/treble etc. to get the right sound for each setting. Otherwise it rules and cant wait to hear some more demos
