Hangman, Man in the Shadows request

First of all, greetings everyone - a pleasure to join the board. I'm a Queen fan over a decade in the making, with a voracious hunger for rarities (though I'm not so foolish as to request Face It Alone or Assassin). What I would truly like is:

A cleaner rendition of Hangman. The recording I currently have is from a '75 concert in Japan, as is of drastically inferioir quality. I'd ideally like a version where I can understand Freddie's lyrics, and every drum beat isn't followed by a hiss of static.

Also, I've heard some mention of 'Man in the Shadows'...is this a Queen song, or some bit of solo material? If it is Queen, I would love to have it, but I'm primarily just curious about it.

Thanks guys. I'll dig through my stuff and see if I have anything worth sharing.

I'm going to do you an enormous favour (and probably ruin everyone's good fun):

Man in the Shadows is a fictitious solo-album by John Deacon. It doesn't exist.

If anyone brings up 'Man in the Shadows', or maybe even 'Two Worlds Apart', ignore them! :D

Sorry, but I really had to laugh out loud! :D

The next funniest thing would be if someone requested Dorog '83! :)

Genius! One of my mates (fat_buddino on this board) knew a guy at school who claimed to have seen queen at the NEC on the 91 innuendo tour. That would have been pretty good going I think XD

[dark humour alert!]

Would that be December 1991?

Rumours say the tour started on November 24th, 1991 and it ended in 1992 with some tribute concert. Does anyone have any of this tour in decent quality PLEEEAAASSSEEEE? ;-)

No, only in crappy quality. Besides, half of the time, Freddie's just cussing about the Queen+Five crap which was already being planned then. Oh, and he hands out master-tapes every now and again, saying "Here, anything's better than Greg Brooks laying his filthy hands on them".

Lyrics were changing during the years. You can find some versions here: http://www.pemcom.demon.co.uk/queen/covers/hangman.html

That last part is just nonsense!

So...no-one can upload a decent version of Hangman for me? Anyone? (glad I was able to provide some amusement, btw).

The only version clearer than Tokyo 1975 is the demo and the only one on this board that has Hangman demo is John S Stuart and he isn't willing to share it, so now you can stop ask :-)

I don't agree. The Liverpool 1973 version is also nice. VG+ quality.
