I found this while looking for videos of Roger Taylor
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwebE1IWRMc
Now of course the video could be better quality but aww what a beautiful song. I'm guessing that this is a Roger number that he wrote in Freddie's memory. I love Roger's hits like AKOM and Radio Ga Ga but I've never heard a song of his with such soft yet raw emotion and Roger has just the right voice, husky raw and emotional. He sounds great. This is just as good as No One But You but more understated. Does anyone have any info about this song ie. was it ever released as a single? Is it about Freddie? Is it on an album? P.S sorry if there are any topics about this already.

Sometimes I get a bit bored with all the Freddie tribute videos, official and fan made, but this is a very DAMNED GOOD exception. Thanks for sharing the link with us.

"is it on an album?" Pah
"is it on an album?" Pah
It's on Roger's album Happiness? of the year 1994 (the last song on it). The whole album is dedicated to Freddie as it says at the end of the booklet "dedicated to the tasmanian tiger - thylacinus cynocephalus...
but most especially...for freddie."
in the lyrics to old friends there is no extra dedication, but I mean the lyrics just tell you all what it is about. Love that song too (as you can see in my signature :-))!!
