Collaboration of me and Freddie

OK. It's my new project. I'm trying to make a new song, and have Freddie sing it.

Can this enter John's contest?

I know it's not perfect yet, and a bit short but i'm still working on it, and it takes an aweful lot of time (this 30 sec piece took me 11 long hours!)

I know you will say that you can do it in like 30 seconds... but then again you say it with every single entry in the fan mixes. But I never heard anything you made :P

Well, my only comment would be to tone down the high-end of the drums and let us hear Fred a bit better. Sounds fine otherwise. Just wanna hear what you've done a bit better.

But seriously...this is great so far...I've never heard the source vocal (and I'll have to start searching for it now :) so I don't know what's you and what's source -- mind breaking it down for us?

I think the drums are fine, but I like loud drums anyway. I would certainly try to get Freddie a little more up in the mix, but otherwise it sounds promising. I assume you have enough of Freddie to make some coherent lyrics as this progresses?

What's me is the music, and the melody.

The source is little vocal parts of Bohemian Rhapsody and Love of my Life. I chopped up words and moved them around to create new sentences.

Think of the possibilities. If I wanted I could make Freddie sing "I'm a buttfucker"

And yeah, I also think the drums are a bit loud. But i'll do all the mixing when I wrote and recorded the whole song.

Definitely needs a hole carved in to let us hear Freddie better. Volume isn't really the problem. It's the stuff that's covering the vocals. Sounds ree good though!

Yeah, thats what I meant. But I don't think most people would understand "I have to cut a bit in the high frequencies of the drumtrack to make room for the vocals" :P
