Anyone know when/where this pic was taken?

I've never seen that picture before. All I can make out is Brian with his arms in the air? Is any other Queen member there? I can't seem to see. And all those other people in the background. Interesting...

That picture somehow reminded me of a wresting match

Rock In Rio Festival, January 1985.

I guess there are no other band members, because this was about Brian's generosity and the fans. I guess it was in As it Began, where I read that during the band's party he heard that there were fans outside having their own, so he decided to go there for a while. But I might be wrong. Serry? :-)

It was in South America, but can't remember if it was 81 or 85. Shortly after Brian and the lady in white jumped in the pool, according to a newspaper article i read at the time. I'm leaning in favour of 81.

You´re right, Lester Burnham, it was taken in Rio ´85. Bri was stood in front of a swimming pool,as you can see and was ready to jump into it...and he did :)

Well take a look at the link you gave of the picture, it says 'rio'.

I think this was taken just before Brian dives into the swimming pool. i remember a story to effect wrt Rio

I think Brian was pushed but he also jumped too. That was a party in Rio in 1985.
