you know i was wondering that , because as we know Freddie wrote WATC , so i believe that he was a football fan .
and i just want to know if Roger ,Brian and John as well like any sport, perhaps Football , They´re from England , and in England people love football .and teams tehy like the more .
let´s rock!!!
Remember in More Of That Jazz..."Rock N Roll just pays the bills/Only football gives me thrills".... one suspects Roger might be a futbol fan... ;-)
"Compromise? That word is not in our vocabulary"-Roger Taylor, quoting Freddie Mercury
I don't think Freddie was so much into football (soccer), in one of the biographies (surely not everything is true in there either)it's said that he didn't even know who Maradonna was, when he met him in.
He used to be very good at sports when he was in school in India though. Referring to the book Queen - as it began: "I loathed cricket, and long-distance running, I was completly useless at both!" recalled Freddie. "But I could sprint, I was good at hockey, and I was just brilliant in the boxing ring, believe it or not!" At the age of ten he became the school champion in table tennis and later won the Junior All-rounder trophy in 1958.
I don't think later in his life he did so much sport, maybe kept in shape in the gym once in a while or playing tennis during vacation on Ibiza.
As far as the other three are concerned I don't know. I remember Roger watching a boxing fight while beeing interviews (you could see the tv in the mirror). Roger also likes cars, so maybe he is interessted in motorsports??

Roger can ski and sail and apparently John is an amateurish surfer. Now that is something I'd both love and hate to see.

I was reading on a web page called arseweb its a website for Arsenal fans and it said that Roger is an Arsenal fan like me
And All I Can Do Is Surrender.
On his radio show, Alice Cooper said something about trying to talk to Freddie about sports, but Freddie was too interested in talking to his wife about ballet... (Quote : "Is there anything behind that moustache ?")

I heard this right the seconds I turned the radio on, and it took me a minute to figure out what had just happened.
