*later that day* NEWSFLASH: Subpar bass playing leads to Judgement Day.

Bumping an old topic, because I damn well want to.

On Pete's website ( http://www.petetownshend.co.uk/diary/display.cfm?id=383&zone=pr ), the tracklisting was finally announced:

----------------------------------------------

After 24 years, the wait is almost over and October 31st will see the release of Endless Wire, the keenly-anticipated first new Who studio album since 1982's It's Hard.

The album features extended versions of the various sections that formed the Wire & Glass mini-opera as well as exploring other themes from Pete's novella The Boy Who Heard Music.

Opening track, Fragments, utilises the pioneering Method music software developed by Pete in conjunction with mathematician/composer Lawrence Ball and software-designer Dave Snowdon.

More details to follow soon but, for now, here's the full track-listing.

I cannot wait. I'll be seeing them next Tuesday, and will absolutely be picking up this album on October 31st. I'm a little bummed that 'How Can I Help You Sir?' isn't on there, but it's a minor complaint.

Maybe I'll write a book about The Who next...
I simply cannot wait for this! I already own the Wire & Glass Single and Vinyl Single! This is gonna be it folks, those un-aware of the WHO, This is your lucky year ;)
By the way (I know this is irrelevant to the CD), The Who are gonna perform at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in October. (It's like 20 minutes away from where I live). Should I go see 'em?? I'm haven't really heard any of their songs.... :S I missed a Queen concert at the bowl last year (because i didn't know them yet). i believe it's the only place where you can get tickets as low as a dollar :D
I is Tamara. ;) >_> I'll stop changing my name now.... MSN address: lil_ruski_violinist@hotmail.com

Short answer: yes. Long answer: FUCK YES. I've seen them twice and have loved every moment of each concert. This concert on the 12th will be the first one where I get a chance to see them up close (twelfth row!), and if I have as good a time as I did the last two times (once in 2000, again in 2002, both lawn seats), then I can die happy afterwards. But I'll die ecstatic after I buy this album and see them again in November.

Lester, you sir, are the man! Yes, the WHO is AMAZING live. I cannot wait for them to come around to my city very soon. They are just one of the most powerful and skillful bands in the world(Despite losing Keith and John). As for you Miss I <3 Freddie, GO FOR IT :D, Experience a band which in my opinion, trumps Queen greatly. Maximum R & B for life folks ^_^(WHO fans will get that hehe)
