What's the best way to save this file rather than listen to it streaming?
There's a lot of soft for it... Like this for instance: http://radio.about.com/cs/recordingstreams/ht/RecordStreams.htm

I just open a long empty wave file in GoldWave and press record.
Nice documentary, but a couple facts are wrong: they say Son And Daughter was the first single, and they used the 12-3-73 BBC session as if it was the 2-5-73 session. But still, there are a lot of really nice interviews in there, especially the ones with FM's family members.

Thank you for the link! Heehee, I'm only about 10 minutes in, but love how they introduced Liza Minelli as one of his very close friends :P Pfft. :D

really? maybe if you're only counting jim, mary, peter freestone etc. as his closest friends...but i'm pretty sure that they were quite good friends. at the very least there was a lot of mutual admiration.

Ahh, thank you for finding that download page Dan. I only wish I'd known about it before I listened to the damn stream!
It's refreshing to hear a music-free version in good quality. I really don't find poor quality streams of music very enjoyable.
What I'm referring to is the stream version includes lots of music clips and runs about 56 minutes, whilst the downloadable version has the actual documentary in high quality without annoying low-quality clips of songs we've heard a million times and runs 37 mins. Nice :)

Thats just the thing, there IS no evidence of them being friends, at all, just that couple pictures with Freddie in the light blue suit after the '90 brit awards. She was a very loved artist of his, im sure...but I dont think they were great friends.
