Although this is the wrong forum - I will reply here as this is where the original mail stems from.

First: I indeed do respect the community, perhaps this should be re-read, as what I actually said was: "this does NOT make ANYONE a "poor excuses for (a) human being..." whatever their own personable foibles may be".

Translation - the poster (or anyone else in here is NOT less than human).

Second: I also said, "This is an internet forum (with the RIGHT to respect both freedom of speech & disagree with others - its called democracy)".

Translation - We all have the right to agree or disagree, and that I do not need someone coming on here telling me I deserve their pity because I do not subscribe to their particular point of view. That in my mind is neo-Nazism - and NOT respecting the freedom of others. Hopefully, I am free to think what I like, and respect others the same rights and privileges.

Thirdly: There is a world of difference between theft and the censorship of personal opinion. While my opinion may be considered immoral – it is certainly not illegal and to equate one with the other is non sequitur.

Translation – I allow all the freedom of speech to say what they like, when they like, without prejudice or personal bias. I may disagree with it, and I may disagree strongly,
But that is why these forums exist. Nevertheless, I respect such freedoms and baulk at those who come on here spouting otherwise.

If these kinds of posts would go away, and not just yours, but all of the teen-age "Queen is HOT, BRIAN is sexy", that would probably be a good way to stop being bullied around QueenZone. There is a "Personal" section for threads like this. "General Discussion" isn't meant for discussing which member wears colored underwear.

I didn't start that 'Brian and Roger are hot' thread. But see that's what teenagers do. This, bizarre as it may seem, is the one place we can discuss Roger and Brian and their 'sexiness' because as their both well over 50 our friends think we're mad when we talk about them in that sense...

is there an actual, formal set of guidelines for what topic goes where? being new here, i got the impression that the "bri&rog is HOT" topic would go here, since it's queen-related, but clearly not serious. you can't blame people for not knowing all the rules and customs(god, a forum with customs? aren't we taking ourselves a little seriously? nyeh) right off the bat. yeesh, the topics have names, just don't click on it. does it really bother you that much? it's okay to point it out, just don't flame people...it's not worth it.

anyway. long way of saying that hysterical fangirls are just as much a part of the fandom(what would beatlemania have been without them?), and they're gonna be here for a while(as long as queen is popular).

Seriously, You can't be on Queenzone ALL DAY LONG, posting new threads and posting in OLD threads. What I mean to say is that people will be people, and you cannot do anything about it. So if someone bothers you, keep in mind, that there is a barrier, whether a timezone, or an ocean or whatever, between you and that person. and just DROP IT! Leave it alone. I understand your point. Absolutely. But some people on these Threads tend to get pissed off when there are like 100 of the same exact threads going around. But I agree with you, nevertheless..
