I don't get it, everybody says that it's so hard to play! I guess I had trouble when I first started to play, but it got TONS easier. Now that I think about it, it's extremely hard to get the right pitches.

Awwwww Shucks! What's really funny is that there are ten French horn players in my band and this cool kid jock dude is like..."I'm in the advanced band, therefore I rock and am soooo cool". He is in 8th grade and gets his butt kicked by the seventh graders. He is last chair(whats new?). Nobody knows why he is in the advanced band. I'm trying out for Florida All-state band in seven days. I'm the only French horn trying out besides one of the seventh graders. Hope I make it! Thanks for the complement!

I remember last year I REALLY messed up a test and got last chair. That same kid kept on saying crap like "see, I'm so good that I beat Beth" On the next test I kicked so much butt that I went from tenth chair to first chair. How do you like me now David! I won the "most improved seventh grade musician award" at our final concert because of it. Highlight of my life. So the moral of the story is that sometimes you need to screw up horribly in order to be awesome...or something like that xD
