However, if as you say it is purely innocent than we must give the benefit and all that, but in my view it's better to be made aware you are acting in a rather unsavoury fashion and allow you the chance to adjust your comments, I'd far rather be wrong and be accused of being overly sensitive or (sick) as you say, than be proved right!

She´s 17 years old, so she can defend herself, but in this case i don´t think she has anything to worry about.
But if i´m not mistaken, you were inplying some sorth of paedophilia, wich could never be the case if her age is indeed correct. I completely understand GB comments on her because this is a discussion that started before.

You have hit the nail on the head. For those unfamiliar with that phrase, I mean that Bobby is exactly right. He is SPOT ON. Genuine thanks Bobby for taking the time to explain what I felt I did not want to get into, but you are quite correct. Much of what you say is precisely the case. If I had said that (which I thought about doing), it would have played right into the hands of some truly nefarious people here, and I wouldn't give them the satisfaction.
People like Togg are for the most part oblivious to the damage their careless comments, inferences, and ill-thought out words can imply. I could not have made my point clearer than I did in my last thread, about the doctor fiasco, but still Togg fails to see the real heart of the matter. HE WOULD SEE IT PLAIN ENOUGH IF THE SITUATION WERE REVERSED, I assure you.
I doubt Togg was meaningfully malicious - no more than was the doctor in my earlier analogy - and he did apologise for offending me, which he certainly did with his nasty undertone... but nevertheless people who think that way, who see things that are not there, are ALSO creepy, and also a worry to the rest of us.
I am NOT suggesting Togg has any nasty thoughts himself in 'that' sickening area, I only mean that he has a mind that is very quick to see something tacky and cringful where there is nothing to see. That is HIS problem, but I take offence when his type of nastiness touches me.
Bobby_Brown is a clear example, like he says himself, of someone who saw nothing dark or inappropriate in my words to Poppy (and neither did Poppy, by the way). He saw and took the humour and private joke precisely as it was intended. THANK GOD FOR INNOCENT THINKING PEOPLE LIKE HIM. Not everyone has a corrupted, polluted mind, thank Christ. I am sincerely pleased he said what he said, not least, Togg, because now you can see that many people would not have gone that path, had you not said what you said - feeding them that damaging nonsense.
Togg, you CANNOT imply that any person has the kind of nasty agenda in mind that you implied I had. It is ugly in the extreme. In fact it could border on slanderous or libelous, actually.
By the way, Poppy is 17, not 7, not 5, so your comments were even more wide of the mark than you seem to realise.
It's like one cannot have even a joke on QZ sometimes without someone or other looking for a dirty aspect or sinister element. I feel sorry for such people who have allowed their mind to become so tarnished.
