OK, as it would have been Freddie's 60th Birthday, here's a special little something for you all. I have to admit, this doesn't stand up to close scrutiny, but as a concept, I think it works perfectly. I did have to adjust the pitch of the orchestra quite a lot for it to match, and this is what has degraded the quality in some places, and the more technical of you will probably pick this up, but I hope this is enjoyable all the same. Oh, and I thought I'd better do two versions, to save doing another one later. ;) Lol!

Another great remix, your Lordship. Again, as with your PTG remixes, I think the version with Brian Playing Guitar works the best, but both versions are great, all the same.
Although I'm not a great Lover of the Queen+ Robbie's version of "We Are The Champions", this mix does in fact remind me a bit, of the " A Knight's Tale non-soundtrack Album version" I think the Orchestral instruments, take your mind of Robbie's singing.(can't beat Freddie's voice.)
Again, I love your remixes, but I can't help wondering what the "Hank Marvin & Brian" version of this song would sound like with Freddie's vocals over it. (Hint!! Hint!!)
Keep up the good work & Thanks again.

Probably bloody awful - lol! I don't think it would work, because there isn't an isolated Freddie vocal track to use. Thanks for your comments though. :)
Yeah, this is nice - keep on with orchestral stuff!!
I'd love to hear Freddie's vocals on Robbies Champions song and also WWRY with that australian bloke whose name escapes me.
It really is a shame they don't release instrumental versions of all these "new" versions of old songs.

Thinking about it, Yeah!! you're probably right.
Hmm I think I'm going to do an orchestral version of a song aswell..
Anybody got a request?

Hmm...Radio Ga Ga might be good
I liked this remix, although I must say that I'd have preferred to hear Freddie's voice with a higher volume, while in the refrains especially it remains a little overwhelmed by the whole orchestration.
This said, I repeat: I really enjoeyed it, and I'lll be happy to listen to other orchestral mixes ;-)

Exactly my thoughts. You might disregard my EQ thoughts here, but here it is... Do something similar to what I said about the PTG one. Just search around the frequency where it's piercingly high. Places like 36secs, 1:50, 2:15, etc.
Good ending too.
Peace,
Adam.
Btw, why didn't you use Melodyne to change the pitch? Wouldn't that've done better?

I was thinking exactly the same thing, but I still don't know how it works! :)
As regards Freddie's volume, I know it's a poor excuse, but his volume through the Queen track is consistant, but the volume of an orchestra isn't. Perhaps I could have evened it out by dropping the volume of the orchestra at a couple of points, but as I have said before, different people hear things in their own perspective, and to me, it just sounds very powerful. Also, if I had raised Freddie, this would have also raised the volume of the whole Queen part of the track. To my ears, it's balanced well.

I'd agree with that -- you've done a good job isolating Freddie on this one, and I imagine you had to make some compromises to do that, but at the end it sounds, to my ears, far superior to the version "with Brian."
Certainly not bad, but I like the PTG version more :)
As for a suggestion, maybe "save me"?

Yup, good idea, Dan. Only thing missing is the orchestra! ;) It's not on the CD I currently have, but it is on the one I have just ordered, along with some other interesting stuff, like Innuendo. Muhahahaha!!
I really like these orchestral mixes! Great stuff, keep up the hard work!
I can make orchestra :D
