Well, I believed it was the same song all along.
But also understood you were saying that it is the SMILE-VERSION on the disc.

right let me get this striaght it is NOT smile singing but southern comfort who sing the song but it is the same tune and lyrics and same style which i thought was strange as it was credited to barnwell and not s lucas.when i do get to post it you will see what i mean.i hope this as got this striaght for you all

This is not the same song. Southern Comfort's members included ; Gordon Huntley, Ray Duffy, Carl Barnwell, Andy Leigh. So that's why it is credited to C. Barnwell, their Vocalist/Guitarist. This was released as a single & on "Frog City" LP and on Distilled in 1976. Plus this subject has been discussed a while back by John S. Stuart. I know someone who has the Distilled LP so i may have to borrow to show it is not the same, as long as i can find my RCA to sound card adapter. lol
